Warner Bros., with the Harry Potter tour closed at Leavesden Studios, has decided to make the buses available to the NHS National Health Service.
Harry Potter buses in England carry doctors and nurses
A hint of magic in this sad emergency for Covid-19 : with the closure of Leavesden's studios in England , where they are active for Harry Potter-related tours , the Nottetempo buses have currently been lent by Warner Bros in the West Herts Hospitals Trust, a network of three major hospitals: the National Health Service (NHS) thus uses the popular means of transport on which Harry boarded, starting with Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban , for an apparently less magical but essential purpose . In times when public transportation would have difficulty inmanage the movement of health personnel , these capacious vehicles (three floors!) are at the complete disposal of the necessary continuous reorganization of these people, between the three areas they cover.
Paul Da Gama, head of the West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust, said: "Our staff may not travel to unusual places, nor will they spy behind the scenes of a great movie, but they do magic in their own way." A spokesman for Warner Bros added: "We are happy to have a role in supporting our national health service in times of need. We don't think there is a better use for those buses right now."
